CAAB Report 164 |
Monday 11 April 2005 Harrogate Magistrates' Court - DAY 3The day was taken up by Robert Moore (Crown Prosecutor) continuing to present his cases against Anni and Lindis. The second of the 'sample' cases (out of 30 cases brought against Lindis) was continued from Friday’s hearing, followed by another 'sample' (Lindis) case and a case when both Anni and Lindis were arrested.
Anni was arrested on 30 November 2004 for alleged 'aggravated trespass' (s. 69 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994) and Lindis for alleged offences of 'obstruction of PC Mc Mullen in the execution of his duty' and alleged 'obstruction of the highway'.
During one of the cases against Lindis, a Ministry of Defence Agency officer was called who was not involved with the case being heard, another it was said by Robert Moore, had apparently taken ‘himself to hospital during lunchtime and would be in touch' (it was not known if he had made contact) and the third was 'attending to children'. All officers were on 'stand by' to give evidence.
Robert Moore has now presented 4 out of the 6 cases. There are two more cases to be heard (Lindis) and after the Crown Prosecutor has done this, it will be the turn of the Defence to present their 6 cases - consecutively.
Thank you so much to Ffriends who came to support Anni and Lindis in court. |
