CAAB handed in a card to the US Commander of
NSA Menwith Hill (Colonel Gill) on this day. The card said
'Remembering all victims of terrorism, especially on this day - war
is not the answer' - from Anni Rainbow and Lindis Percy - Campaign for the
Accountability of American Bases (CAAB).
We were of course mindful not to use the US
upside down flag during the two hours CAAB was present. Instead
Lindis Percy held a banner 'WAR IS NOT THE SOLUTION' for two hours while
she walked to and fro across the main entrance to Menwith Hill.
A 'PEACE' flag fluttered too.
